• 1070mm WORKING HEIGHT FOR MOUNTING ON TRUCKS 

We worked with Guernet in France to design a unit for Australian conditions, built to be used on trucks without the need for ramps or blocks.

When placing the wheel on the jaws the Tyrebox allows the machine to do all of the work, avoiding the frustration of having to shuffle the tyre into postition.

• 16.5HP DIESEL DRIVEN MOTOR DRIVING PISTON COMPRESSOR AND PATENTED HYDRAULIC TYRE CHANGER (ONLY FULLY HYDRAULIC MACHINE ON THE MARKET)

Tyrebox is the only machine that runs all operations hydraulically, including rotation making it more powerful and less susceptible to wear in electronic componentry (less motors require less maintenance) and enabling it to be mounted outside.

• BEAD BREAKING FORCE 5,500NEWTONS HIGHER THAN NEAREST COMPETITOR

The Tyrebox has bead breaking force of 25,000Newtons (the equivalent of a SICE S54A in store machine)
In comparison the Nexion Group machine (SICE, EAGLE SMF, CORGHI) has just 15,000Newtons of bead breaking force and the M&B Dito has 19,500Newtons

• PISTON COMPRESSOR FOR RELIABILITY AND POWER IN MOBILE USE

Screw compressors are designed to run optimally in industrial applications (18-24 hours per day continuously) to achieve the reliability they espouse.
In the operation of a mobile tyre unit, screw compressors are found to be running sub-optimally. This is because screw compressors are not designed to be turned on and off more than once per day.
Using a screw compressor in this way causes premature wear of the screw – the most expensive part of the compressor – due to cold starts and water emulsion in the oil.
A piston compressor is designed to be run intermittently. Optimally this is at 60% use and turned on and off as required. Making the piston type far more suitable to tyre changing environment.

Tyrebox can be run consistently between 105 and 170 PSI never dropping lower than the pressure required to inflate a truck tyre (the largest use of air in operation.)

150lt receiver at 170PSI equates to a 30% faster inflation of a truck tyre than screw compressors.

Tyrebox also produces far less water than screw compressors as constant screw compressor starts dramatically increase water emulsification in oil which, when separated in the sump is forced through the airlines.

• LOW SERVICE COSTS

The Tyrebox has scheduled maintenance of motor and compressor requiring inexpensive lubricants and filters which, while available from Jonair can be easily sourced Australia wide.
Belts for the compressor are less than $40 and can be fitted by any competent mechanic.
The Tyrebox uses a proven Lombardini motor which can be serviced by any diesel mechanic, Kohler accredited dealer Australia wide, or by Jonair directly.
Pump units are also available as complete replacement at lower cost than single screw.

Jonair take full responsibility for all products. The motor, compressor, and tyre changer are purchased directly from one company. Who, as the direct importer take full responsibility as manufacturer according to Australian consumer law.
As the machine is specifically made as a package. No problems arise that are caused, or can be blamed on the fault of another component. The compressor is designed to work with the motor and the motor designed to work with the tyre changer.

• REMOVABLE WHEEL BALANCER OPTION

Tyrebox has the option of a truck wheel balancer. Weighing only 25 kilograms, it is simple to use and safe to operate.

The balancer is not permanantely attached to the unit to avoid unnecessary vibrations.

This also allows a store to save money by purchasing multiple Tyreboxes and one or two balancers to assign to trucks who need it at the beginning of each day.
